Our team of Christian Buzzerd, Jessica O'Roark, Tasleema Anwar, and Robert Beaumier are putting the fruits of thier first year STEP training into use this school year.
We will use the STEP 2 training to help our instruction now and in the future.
Welcome again team members, and let's communicate, collaborate, and move ahead with technology at Berwyn Heights.

My first test posting at the Ammendale Tech Ctr.
ReplyDeleteAloha!
The sled pictured above is a freight sled used in Alaska in the winter. It is about 8 feet long, and is pulled by 12-16 dogs depending on the load. This sled has wheels on it so that summer tourists can see the sled dogs pull it in a demonstration.
ReplyDeleteThe end of testing!
ReplyDeleteWhew! I know that all of you have to stick to your curriculum, but I am going to do projects with the students when we come back from spring break.
Since our digital video cameras don't seem to be in Obama's stimulus package I'm going to buy one over spring break and let the students show off their work on voicethread.
Let me know if you want to dovetail this into any part of your fourth quarter curriculum.
Have a great weekend!
OK, one week since we have started our blog. I think that it should serve as a way to critique technology use at Berwyn Heights. Let's face it, we've all seen students struggling to master something: could technology help? A teacher is feeling overwhelmed: could technology help? A new teacher, a teacher just back from a workshop, a teacher hacking around at home, HAS A GREAT TECH IDEA: what is the best way to pass this on to other teachers? An administrator needs more paperwork turned in: can technology help?
ReplyDeleteShould a current use of technology be abandoned for a better one? How? When? Every blog needs a purpose: that's my opinion of this one!
